Kaiko Design Interiors is a Sydney interior design studio specialising in full-service residential interiors for substantial renovations and new builds. Every project is designed personally by Nicholas Kaiko, whose background spans luxury hotel, bespoke retail and high-end residential design. Our work is documented in house and grounded in years of on-site experience and a working knowledge of how buildings actually go together.
The design is colour-led: considered palettes that shape how a space feels, not just how it looks. Every project begins with a deep understanding of the client, their personality, their lifestyle and the way they want to inhabit their home, and builds outward from there.
All aspects of the home, including kitchens, bathrooms and joinery, are documented and drawn in full with the corresponding lighting, materials, fixtures and finishes schedules so builders can price them accurately. Decisions made on paper cost less than decisions made on site. Fees are fixed and agreed before work begins.
Based in Surry Hills, we work with homeowners across Sydney on heritage homes, terraces, apartments and ground-up builds, alongside their architects and builders. Our work has been published in Vogue Living, Living Etc, Belle and Australian House and Garden.
