Woollahra House Coming soon…
Interior Design & Decoration of a vibrant Sydney home
This full home renovation in Woollahra, Sydney was conceived as a colour led interior with a strong point of view. Designed by Kaiko Design Interiors, the house treats colour as structure rather than decoration, drawing on bold Australian references and the home’s historic link to artist Charles Blackman.
Set across three levels on a steep site, the design amplifies light and volume through new skylights and a double height void. A gloss ribbon spiral stair wrapped in terracotta carpet becomes sculptural circulation, anchoring the interior and connecting each level.
Throughout, bespoke joinery, custom furniture and in house designed rugs unify the scheme. Material selections are tactile and deliberate: leathered pink travertine, green quartzite, Japanese mosaics and green terrazzo. Despite its saturated palette and expressive materiality, the home reads calm, held together by disciplined detailing and a consistent design logic.
Delivered as a complete interior architecture and renovation project, Woollahra House reflects Kaiko Design’s commitment to rigorous craft, bold colour and highly resolved residential design in Sydney, Australia.
