To begin, we ask a series of questions so we can understand your interior design project, your personal style and how you would like to see your space transformed. You are welcome to send us photos, links or documentation for us to review. Many clients also share a Pinterest board as a helpful way to organise ideas and communicate inspiration for their home.
Using this information, we can prepare an accurate estimate of our interior design fees based on the needs of your project, your style, timeframe and budget. Further information on our pricing structure is outlined below.
Time to meet
The next step is the interior design consultation. We meet in person, ideally at your property, or connect by video if you are working remotely. During the consultation we walk through the space and discuss your goals for the project.
You talk and we listen. The purpose of the consultation is to understand your needs in detail and identify the key outcomes you would like to achieve. We do not design during the consultation. The design work begins once your project officially starts.
Following the consultation we provide a custom proposal outlining the scope of work, the interior design process, the project deliverables and the associated design fees. Our process follows a structured staged approach developed through years of experience, ensuring clarity throughout the design journey and helping clients confidently track decisions as the project progresses.

Once the proposal is approved the creative work begins. Your project deliverables are organised into stages, with progress payments aligned with each phase of the design process.
Clients can work with our Sydney interior design studio in person or remotely if they are located outside Sydney or working regionally. We provide bespoke interior design services tailored to the scope of each project, delivering carefully considered interiors that reflect your lifestyle, your personality and the vision for your space.

Concepts & Ideas
Through an initial interior design consultation we establish your brief, aspirations and the budget for the build. This forms the scope of works which becomes the basis for the specific project deliverables.
The goal of this stage is to develop a clear interior design direction that responds to the aesthetic, functional and budgetary requirements of the project.

Design Development
Once the concept and general layout are approved, we further develop the design ideas for all areas outlined in the scope of works.

Detailed Documentation
To ensure the success and quality of the completed project, we document every detail so that everyone involved in the project, including builders, tradespeople and suppliers, clearly understands how to deliver their contribution.
We provide a comprehensive set of drawings along with detailed schedules of suppliers, materials, fixtures and fittings.

Tender & Construction
Throughout the tender and construction stages we respond to requests for information from builders, joiners and other project consultants.
Once construction begins we help maintain the quality of the project by reviewing shop drawings, updating issued documentation and conducting regular site visits.
During construction is also the ideal time to take advantage of our Decoration and Furnishing service.
